Quick Read: 2020 has been a difficult year for everyone but a brand new year is coming. Setting my line of sight and a focused direction, I can’t help but feel very excited and hopeful of what can be achieved. Before the end of the year, I would like to take the chance to share some quick updates and wishing everyone the best for 2021! And if you haven’t already set a sight for next year, you should now.
2020 is coming to an end and I can’t wait for 2021 to begin. Feeling a whole lot more hopeful, determined and excited to start a brand new year, I would like to take this chance to share a couple of quick updates. For my dear subscribers, you may have already know some parts of these updates but for many others, this might be a first.
After spending months planning out a roadmap for what’s next and building up a stronger set of content, there’s also a need to update the blog to fit the new directions and upcoming content.
Having been inspired by many great content creators, I’m finally set for a good start in 2021.
New Home page layout and Exclusive Downloads page
To align towards the new direction, the home page terribly needs an upgrade. The emphasis will now be greater on the work I’ve created while balancing with my travel articles.
Travel images and signature shots are a major part of the content creation and more of these will be shared as the blog grows – because these are genuinely handcrafted by me.
And with this new focus, I can imagine a whole lot more interesting content I will be interested to create.
One of the bigger piece of work that’s being lined up is a promotional video in collaboration with Visit Rovaniemi to increase awareness and interest for Asia to visit up North. It’s taking much longer than anticipated but that video is now halfway done.
Alongside the updated homepage, I’m also piloting a new page called “Exclusive Downloads”, which takes subscribing rewards to the next level.
With a dedicated page, all subscribers can find all the content made available just for them. Being a subscriber, you are better rewarded and appreciated for the continued support and followship.
The joy of traveling is when the experiences are shared broadly to many others. And to me, being able to share these intimate and uniquely handcrafted content with everyone is the ultimate joy I can have.

One of the exciting new piece of content I’m launching on my blog is what I called it the “Live! Share”. Basically, it’s a specific section where I’m constantly updating with actual photos and videos captured on the ground as I travel.
Naturally, during this period no one’s really travelling so I will be doing a whole bunch of throwbacks from all the past trips. I’m very certain that these content will be very exciting and insightful to you!
It goes without saying that travel photography is a big part of all my journeys as much as traveling itself. It’s what started my journey in the first place.
These images are really good for storytelling and it would be a waste not try to tell that part of the story. A journey documentary doesn’t always have to be just your best shots. In fact, most of us took images because it represents something, or tells a specific small story within our journeys.
And when you put those pieces together, it creates a powerful story of your entire journey that stimulates joy, laughter, fond memories and excitement to travel again – That’s what images can do.
These journey albums will be made available for anyone to download through the blog and newsletter. With this series of new content, I’m officially moving all upcoming Signature Series albums to members-only content. What that means is, subscribe to my blog to show your support and you will get to download those exclusive content!
Travel photos will be released every other day and also shared on my Facebook page too. So if you aren’t assessing these content on my blog, you might consider following my Facebook page instead.
An all new travel products recommendation page and more product reviews coming up
As an avid traveller, we constantly need to replace old or damaged tools and items, purchase better gears or toolkits for a greater travel experience. And I personally have tested quite a bunch of different products on my own.
People who knows that I travel often, would come to me for advices and recommendations on what to get – that including winter gears and clothing. So it got me thinking that perhaps, I could share some of these experiences and recommendations with my community here and fellow travellers who’re looking for a second piece of opinion towards a product.
Naturally, there’s also a second reason to host such a page – A small stream of potential income through affiliate commissions. Like all bloggers and vloggers, affiliate programs are one of the ways to help support content creators like myself and provide streams of income to keep this going for you.
If you’re already considering to purchase a product that I also happen to recommend, this could be the perfect chance for you to have a look at my product review to take a second opinion of it. Should it swing in the right way, I would most definitely appreciate your support to click on the affiliate link instead – There’s no additional charges or costs you would be bearing because of this!
So go ahead and rest assure that by showing your support to my blog would only result in a win-win situation as you’re paying the exact same price as you’ve seen anyway.
At the time of publishing this article, my product listing page is live and available for browsing. Although still at an early stage with little product recommendations, I’m constantly updating and adding more to the list as I gathered actual footage and images documented for those products.
You should take note that most – if not all – products I’ve recommended in my page, are those I’ve personally used or tested before. And what that means is the product reviews are of 100% authenticity and genuine. If a product is bad, I wouldn’t even bother putting it up on that list but instead, I may write a review about it to help create awareness about it.
I most certainly hope any of those recommendations would help you in your future travel needs, and if you’ve any suggestions or feedbacks you’re welcome to email me or drop me a message on my Facebook!
Last but not least, I wish everyone all the best for the new year ahead. Let’s move forward with god speed and full vigour to make the best of the time given to us. See you around soon!
